Rapid installation
​
A solid foundation is crucial for longevity. Your Lyfe Pod isn’t built on slow and messy concrete foundations, and there’s no digging, no cement mixers and no long waits. Instead we build your Lyfe Pod using a series of galvanised metal screws, driven into the ground, which provide support for our pressure-treated timber base plate. It means we can start building in hours, not days, with no compromises on strength or durability.

Durable by design
​
We build your Lyfe Pod for the outdoors, not for the showroom. Our frame uses the same FSC-certified timber grade found in full size houses, which comes from well-managed forests or recycled sources. Outside, you’ll never have to worry about the elements: we use a magnesium oxide cement fibre, which adds stability to your Lyfe Pod as well as being both water and fireproof*, while our water-based external paint is hardwearing and UV-resistant.

Put comfort first
​
Snuggle up in winter and cool off in summer. Every Lyfe Pod has 100mm eco wool-lined walls and ceilings that use up to 130mm high-performance insulation boards, giving you thermal insulation so good you’ll never have to worry about the temperature. Our floor finishes all come fully underlaid and optionally heated, giving them the perfect amount of *give* to be comfortable and quiet, even in bare feet. Best of all, your Lyfe Pod is easy to clean. We use a moisture-resistant wood effect laminate that protects against dirt carried in from the garden.

Effortless style
We use natural timber finishes including larch and cedar cladding to put the final stamp on your Lyfe Pod. They’re resistant to rot and insect infestation, and look striking as they naturally weather over time. Our doors and windows can be optioned in PVC or aluminium and all feature the latest insurance backed locking systems and double glazing, ensuring security and energy efficiency.
