Replacing an aged outbuilding of the same silhouette, this traditionally weather boarded garden annexe is finished to the client’s high specification both inside and out.
Serving as overflow accommodation for family and friends and especially well poised for the busy holiday months, the annexe is equipped with a high specification shower room and compact kitchenette; fully plumbed to mains water and drainage.
Complete with a four-meter high dual pitched roof, immaculately finished in handmade plain tiles – this build sympathetically blends in to the scenery, enjoying views of the south downs national park.
Reclaimed and refurbished hardwood French doors add to the intentionally senescent feel of this build.
Primary LED lighting is accented with a central antique chandelier and wall lighters to create the perfect mood for any setting. Inventive use of colour and half height partitioning adds to the definition of ‘zones’ within this space to maximise comfort and utility.
Floors are finished in a combination of engineered Oak and ceramic tiles, under-heated throughout. Bespoke solid Oak touches throughout help to homogenise the vernacular of the space.
Approximate build cost £55,000.00
